I have been teaching elementary music since 1994. I have taught elementary music in Wayne-Westland Schools, Goodrich Schools, Michigan State University (early childhood program), and have been teaching in Northville since 2002.
I have a Bachelor's of Music Education from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and a Master's of Music Education from Michigan State University. My primary instrument is voice, but I also play piano and guitar (...and recorder, of course!).
I live in West Bloomfield with my husband, Don. We have two children, Kate (22) and Perry (20). When I'm not teaching, I enjoy going to Jazzercise, reading, cooking, and gardening. I also love to travel, and have especially enjoyed recent trips to Puerto Rico (2012), Tanzania (2013), Savannah, GA (2014), Germany and the Czech Republic (2015), New Orleans (2016), Portugal and Spain (2018).
I absolutely LOVE MY JOB, and especially love sharing the JOY of music with children.
