making music
during the extended closure
Starting April 20, all music plans and activities for the remainder of this school year will be on my Google Classroom page. If you do not have the Google Classroom code, please email me ([email protected]) with your child's name and classroom teacher.
Family Fun Music Challenge Week 3: Think about your favorite song (or songs) that we have learned already in music. (This year or a previous one.) Then teach that song to a family member. Maybe try a music game or movement activity together! For more fun video chat with a family member and teach them too!
Family Fun Music Challenge Week 2: Using the ‘play along percussion’ link, use items you can find in your house to make your own ensemble! With your family, take turns playing
the different parts. Or play each part by yourself. Have fun!

Family Fun Music Challenge Week 1: Call or video chat a family member and ask them to share with you a song from their childhood. Ask them where they learned this song, why do they like it, and what makes this song special to them.
